I’m glad you’re here.
I’m Lauren, a Registered Dietitian blending functional nutrition and mindful eating to help clients confidently create a healthier life that is tailored to their body’s individual needs. I work with adults ready to upgrade their lifestyle to balance hormones, optimize fertility, support a healthy pregnancy, improve gut issues, support autoimmunity, increase energy, and/or reduce cravings, aches, and pains. Each journey is different and I find joy in exploring the intricacies of your health to help you get where you hope to be. If you feel connected to anything I’ve mentioned above… then let’s do this.
“Lauren has truly been the most helpful person I’ve ever worked with regarding nutrition. She listened to all my concerns regarding my digestive issues, bloating, energy crashes, and food fears, and helped me get my diet to a much more balanced place. Since I started working with her a few months ago, my bloating has gone down significantly, I have regular bowel movements, I’m able to stay awake during the day, and overall just feel so much better than I used to. I feel more confident in my food choices and have a better understanding of why I’m making certain choices. I feel like my life is changed for the better and I’m so grateful for Lauren and her passion to help others.”

how we will start planting roots:
total nutrition.
In your initial assessment, I will see if any lifestyle choices, environmental factors, supplements, and/or medications may be interfering with your total nutrition. Some examples include your sleeping habits, stress levels, frequent food choices, and movement. This will allow us to start exploring the lifestyle choices, environmental factors, and supplements that will enhance your total nutrition! I like to call this a root-cause approach.
hormone balancing.
Our hormones are our body’s chemical messengers and impact things like our metabolism, fertility, mood, energy, organ function, and much more. Our lifestyle significantly impacts our hormones. If you’re looking to regular your cycle, minimize that frustrating PMS, or optimize fertility, it’s time to start exploring the lifestyle factors that will balance out your hormones!
mindfulness.
Have you ever finished eating a meal and you don’t even remember how you got there because you ate so fast? Do you let emotions, boredom, or even routine drive your eating habits rather than your hunger? Were you taught to clean your plate no matter how full you are? These are all signs you could use more mindfulness in your life. Mindful eating is a daily practice that lets your hunger be the driver of when and how much you eat. It helps you become a more intuitive eater and become confident in creating meals that are balanced and allow you to savor and enjoy your food.
gut health.
Everyone says “you are what you eat”, when really the saying should be “you are what you DIGEST and ABSORB”. You could be eating all of the right things, but if you aren’t digesting and absorbing your food and nutrients properly, then how can you have better health? Even if you think proper gut health isn’t related to your symptoms, there’s usually some sort of connection. Focusing on optimizing gut health will always be a part of what we do.
“Working with Lauren has been a life-saver! I really wanted to find someone to help me work through binge eating and learn how to improve my nutrition to help relieve rheumatoid arthritis symptoms. Each week Lauren has set attainable goals with me and after six sessions I can confidently say that I'm in one of the healthiest places of my life. I feel confident in my hunger and fullness signals and I'm able to choose more nutritious foods. The changes we've made to my nutrition have greatly helped my rheumatoid arthritis and it shows in my blood work! My inflammation levels have dropped to the lowest they've ever been since I was diagnosed. I'm so thankful for Lauren and her guidance.”

'“My experience with PRN was Five stars. I was managing a few health-related issues that I hoped could be positively impacted through food. Lauren was extremely kind, thoughtful and easy to talk with and helped me develop realistic nutrition strategies that were not hard to implement. It was encouraging and empowering. I learned way more than I expected and after only three sessions am pretty astonished by how much better I am feeling. Significantly, Lauren also worked with my health insurance so that I received coverage for this important support. Lauren is generous with her time and expertise and I could not recommend her more highly.”
